    Rythu Bandhu scheme was first launched in 2018 at Dharmarajpalli village in Karimnagar district. Since then the government has dispersed the Rythu Bandhu amount to eligible farmers and peasants at frequent intervals.

    Rythu Bandhu Pathakam is a seasonal scheme to help farmers and peasants in times of low sales. Under this scheme, the Telangana government will give short-term loans or advances to farmers across the state.

    Currently, AMC (Agricultural Marketing Committee) has been entrusted with the responsibility to ensure the scheme’s smoother allocation and disbursement of loans to eligible farmers.

    Farmers will get temporary financial advances to sell their agricultural produce in the market. By doing so, it will prevent a glut of agricultural produce leading to fall in their prices.

    Farmers and peasants can get a loan up to Rs. 2,00,000 under the scheme and they need not pay any interest on the sum for the first six months from the date of loan taken.

    Previously, the scheme had a provision of Rs. 1,00,000 for the needy farmers in the united Andhra Pradesh comprising parts of Telangana as well.

    However, that rule completely changed once Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were bifurcated way back in 2014.

    The state government of Telangana will provide a cash assistance of Rs. 5000/- per acre to farmers for cultivation and farming. They will also get pesticides and insecticides from the government.

    The scheme aims at giving an impetus to the state’s agriculture production during monsoon. The farmers who already uploaded their details to the Telangana treasury site by June 16th, 2020, will receive the first lot of Rythu Bandhu payment.

    Others who uploaded their details after June 16th, 2020, will get the payment shortly within the next seven days.

    You need to upload the copies of the following documents to the Telangana government’s treasury departments while submitting your request.

    It’s already clear that the Rythu Bandhu Scheme is for farmers of Telangana who own a patch of land for farming and peasantry. The registration process is very simple.

    First of all you need to go to the rythu bandhu department login section that is under the website of Telangana government’s Treasury and Accounts Department (https://treasury.telangana.gov.in/). 

    Then you need to click on Rabi details and, opt for the year and PPBNO number. Recheck all information that you have furnished.

    Now, click on the Submit button. You will have to furnish all details as prompted on the site along with the copies of all necessary documents.

    You need to upload them in a prescribed format as mentioned therein the site.

    Once all the process is complete, press submit again to confirm your registration. Congratulations! You have now successfully registered yourself on the treasury.telangana.gov.in rythu bandhu program.

    The Telangana Government launched a new scheme Rythu bandhu for the farmers and peasants of the state. It was announced in the month of February this year, and now the payment distribution process is underway.

    Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the TRS government headed by K. Chandrashekar Rao, has lent a helping hand for the cause of the farmers. The scheme will enable around 60 lakhs farmers to get benefitted this year. 

    The Rythu Bandhu Scheme will make sure that all farmers of the state receive incentives for their hard work towards agricultural activities. A cash reward (direct benefit) of Rs. 5000/- per acre will be given to farmers by the Telangana government twice a year to boost their production of Rabi and Kharif crops in both summer and winter seasons.

    The government will also provide necessary insecticides and pesticides to the farmers under the TS Rythu Bandhu program for their crop protection.

    The Ekuber TS Rythu Bandhu scheme for farmers and peasants is expected to act as a game-changer in the state. It will help farmers focus more on producing better-quality crops on their lands.

    The eligibility criteria for the farmers is to be a resident of Telangana and having the ownership of a certain hectare or acre of land. Both the small and marginal peasants are eligible for Rythu Bandhu Status. Please note, commercial farmers will not be covered under this scheme.
