More than 60 lakh small and marginal farmers will be considered Rythu Bandhu beneficiaries under this scheme.
The state government of Telangana will provide a cash assistance of Rs. 5000/- per acre to farmers for cultivation and farming. They will also get pesticides and insecticides from the government.
The scheme aims at giving an impetus to the state’s agriculture production during monsoon. The farmers who already uploaded their details to the Telangana treasury site by June 16th, 2020, will receive the first lot of Rythu Bandhu payment.
Others who uploaded their details after June 16th, 2020, will get the payment shortly within the next seven days.
